About the book

Odysseus finally reveals his name and tells the Phaeacians the full story of his long and terrible journey after the fall of Troy. His tale begins with raids, storms, and strange lands, then leads into some of the most famous adventures in all of ancient literature.

He is attacked by the Cyclops, angers Poseidon, receives the bag of winds from Aeolus, meets man-eating Giants, and reaches the island of Circe. He travels to the land of the dead, and sees the spirits of heroes, friends, and family. His voyage then takes him to the Sirens, between Scylla and Charybdis, and to the island of the Sun.
