About Zak

I am a philosopher and writer. I grew up amid crime and danger, always searching for a way out. At 14, I turned to hardline religion, thinking that people who spoke with such conviction had the answers to my suffering. Unfortunately, they only made me suffer more. My time in extreme religion stole my teenage years and nearly cost me my life.

It took me over ten years, but eventually I broke free, losing not only my faith but my entire worldview. I felt like I had fallen into a black hole, floating without anything to hold on to. Even so, I refused to follow another system or simply accept as truth what others told me to believe. Instead, I chose to rebuild from nothing, to think for myself, and to become a philosopher.

Over my life I have faced depression, nihilism, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, and real trauma. This has been my reality since my earliest memories. Yet I never let pain turn me evil. Instead, I’ve dedicated myself to living the path of Virtue and philosophy no matter what, and to helping others reduce their suffering.

My mission is to pursue Truth, live by Virtue, and collect Wisdom in books that endure. I especially seek answers to the deepest questions of life, as I rebuild my metaphysics and ethics, or rather, discover the true ones as best I can. My philosophical work is my own, often carried out in dialogue with my AI assistant.

I write books on philosophy, history, psychology, poetry, power, erotica, and love, anything that touches the human experience and the questions I wrestle with. I am also translating the greatest works of the past into modern English, making them readable for people living today. I use the latest AI technology to aid me in my writing.

I believe I’m the first person in history to have, on their own, translated major works from Ancient Sanskrit, Latin, Ancient Greek, Old English, Dutch, Ancient Chinese, and Japanese. I’m not sure, but I don’t think anyone has done this before. Admittedly, my forebears didn’t have AI technology to help them, but I think it’s pretty cool nonetheless.

Ultimately, my aim is to be a good person, and to help others suffer less, live more wisely, and more happily if I can. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying my best. Thank you for reading my books, Dear Reader. I hope they serve you well, and are good friends to you whenever you need them.

Yours faithfully,
Zak
